Hi all,

I currently got an O2 call package and p990i, but as outlined on many threads O2 data charges are crazy.. I also see a few threads about t-mobiles web and walk.
What i'd like to do is get a t-mobile payg sim with web and walk, and swap this with my O2 sim when i want to use data rather than calls. I am confused at the various threads on the t-mobile pricing.. is it £7.50 a month or a £1 a day? Also as i intend to mostly use my O2 for calls, can i redirect any calls from my O2 sim to my t-mobile one when i'm using this?
I never had a payg sim, or 2 phones/sims before, and wonder if this is a practical idea?

thanks for your help

cheers Oz

The cheapest way to get web nwalk is buy a sim only deal online for 7.50 Then add web n walk for another 7.50 by phonin up . Thats a sim only rolling month contract. No idea about the divertin calls question

I do exactly you want to do, and its £1 a day for unlimited data, i remember reading somewhere that t-mobile capp it at 25mb but thats not true. Done about 1gig worth of browsing and downloading yesterday Im not sure about the call diverting question, as i put my 02 sim in my K750i when im using the t-mobile sim in my P990i. On a side note, I asked about 5 months ago when I was in an o2 shop about data plans and prices. The sales assistant said their are plans to introduce something similar to t-mobile, but haven't seen or heard anymore on that yet. Although I do get 250mb inclusive on my o2 contract.

Thanks guys,

but you see my confusion... one says £7.50, plus £7.50 a month, and second post says £1 a day...

If you buy a PAYG sim its £1 a day, which is what I use. What Greggy meant was a rolling contract sim, which would work out to be £15 a month. Hope this helps.

Ah thanks...

now i understand cheers Paul..

So i got to decide if i will use more than £15 a month on payg.. which isn't likely to be honest..

So i think my best option is the £1 a day..
Just got to figure out if i can forward calls and have the 2 sims in the same phone

Divert calls
With the o2 SIM in the phone
Tools -> Control Panel -> Call settings -> Divert calls -> Voice calls
Set "When not reachable" to your T-Mobile PAYT number

You'll also have to pay the divert call bit, which should work out at the o2 to T-Mobile rate.
