This is a TV report from 1993 about some new technology thing called ‘Internet’ from Prime Time News in Canada.
It’s hard to believe that it was ever this new especially just 14 years ago. This is your typical mainstream report in many ways but it could possibly be one of the first times that something called ‘Emoticons’ are discussed and demonstrated to the world as a conversational tool on national TV.
