> Ebay - "Why are you selling"?
Bookmark topic
Just looking at phones on ebay now, and in listings i see this question all the time, "why are you selling"?
To be honest, i dont know why they ask this, why would they care

Obviously the person just wants to sell the phone/item.
I doubt it would make that 'possible' buyer any more/less interested if they knew why they were selling it.
what do people think the reason is for this q?
imo i dont care why they are selling, i just want to be sure the item is good condition as described and all is legit!

They probably want to know if the phone is any good or if there are any faults.

i used to get it asked all the time and i replyed with "im selling this phone becasue i can"
didn't get asked after a few sales!
i think its people jsut being nosey and wanting to know where the phone came from etc etc..

I think its a comfort factor and also enables the asker to judge the seller by the reply

I got asked today, how long have i had the phone i am selling?
I replied, that i didnt think it would make a difference as i knew WHERE the phone came from!
And then the person came in an offer....that made me roll around the floor
