Slowly, I found that SE is developing a design trend of its own. Though all the eletronics is based on Ericsson phone but you can see the colour they used now is brighter.
Their old phone always have dark or dull colour which look more like something for business men. Now even their P800 look bright and clean.
I personally think it is a wise move to drop Z700 as it is never a clever idea to have two platform within one company's product portfolio.
However the changes is still slow but next year would be a year worth waiting for a T100, t200, T300 and T600 have showed that SE will have a new look but with the same eletronics of Ericsson and the hip/fun games/function they get from Sony.
this is clearly showed by those bundle game in P800 and even the z700 was annouced to have MIB and Charlie's Angels game ...(too bad those might not happen). Gone are the day we have to get used to just tetris, Erix or popball on E/// ....now even the high end basic phone like T600 is offering games that get good review (the car race game).
Its just like the bond movie franchise, just went you thought the world have enough of it after "license to kill" they make a come back and everytime, it is getting better.

Every manufacturer creates their own image, of course, it's how customers recognise their products. I must admit I was sceptical to how SE phones was going to look when they joined because I never liked the looks of Sony's phones. Now I like the image S&E has created together more and more. Good thing the Z700 was never released, it looked too Sony I think.

Ya, I also guess that is the phone which E/// is referring to in second quarter (Z700)...they mention their sales of mobile was hurted due to some delay of product.
Well so if it is delayed then why keep it as SE need an image of its own and their first batch of product just let critics saying " Hey its just Ericsson and Sony phone with a change of the colours!!!"
At least now we have a first glimpse of their future look through those launched after T68i.
