Hi all,

Have recently notice my p990 battery is getting very warm, battery has dropped to 28% since charging this morning (about 8 hours ago). I only sent a few txt's about 5 or 6 and made a 2 minute call. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a handset or battery issue? Assume i'll have to get down to the O2 shop and see what they say. Just like to hear your views before i go demanding my phone get fixed..

cheers Oz

Hi Vince,

Yes this is the original unit supplied 3 months ago with the phone.. incidentally i had a problem with an order with datakits.. took 6 weeks to get my item.. not a good company..

Ok so my battery is likely to be broken

cheers Oz

i've noticed this to happen with the BST-33 that came with my P990 as well. And I'm sure its an original battery.

Is there any word on BST-34, or whatever the higher capacity battery for the P990 is supposed to be?

@bondizi

There never was a BST-44 it was a typo error according to SE but id believe there was meant to be a higher capacity battery that was going to be released but so far it seems to of failed to materialise I'm afraid.
