Hi all,
I have been suffering the battery drain problem i am sure you are all aware of, but now as i am using it with a Nokia BH-500 Bluetooth Stereo streaming that i only use when i walk the dog for an hour it has been getting critical.
So whilst i was in a phone shop i am friendly with they were trying to persuade me to get a 8800 Sirocco besides the fact i don't like the thumb pad or the roundness and curves of the new shape the only advantage was the BP-6X which is a 700aMh Li-Polymer battery as opposed to the 600AmH BP-5X which is Li-Ion. I haven't been able to find them on the Nokia UK online site but they are showing as due in 5 days on Expansys @£19.95 +shipping the same price as the 5x.
Now obviously i know 100aMh is not a lot of difference but i do believe Li-Polymer is a better technology so as of 8:00am have put a fully charged 6X in and will see how it lasts compared to the 5X.

@ Voda-Jon
As you know i also now have the Special Edition and if it lasts that much longer i will be more than happy. Seeing as they are quite small and light and I only really have the draining problem when using it for Stereo Music over Bluetooth for an 1 hour at a time. I think 3 battery's will get me through a day. Unlike you i never use non original accessories for anything but especially not battery's never have and never will but that's just me and what i do.

Hi all,
Well i put this new BP-6X at just gone 8:00am and i still have over half left plus have listened to loads of Music over bluetooth. I really didn't expect the 100aMh and being Li-Polymer to have made this much of a difference really quite stunned to be honest as that's 16 hours so far.

You're happy your battery has lasted 16 hours? What was Nokia thinking?

@alrodlop35
Sorry i don't get your post , but i reckon on a known battery hungry device with about 3hours of Music player with bluetooth stereo streaming that's not bad. Compared to my M600 and HBH-DS-970 that is mind boggling battery life.
