Hi all,
I was wondering if it's possible to hide your own phone number when sending an sms.
This is possible when you make a call by just pressing #31# before entering the destination number, but I tried it for sms and I got as message "
Sending failed".
If this is originally not possible, does a third-party app exist which allow secret sms.
Thanks,

before typing something in the sms, enter *ri#
for example: "*ri# hello..."
im not sure if there is any space between *ri# and the first letter.maybe its working without space

I know that if you go into (FO) messages>click the messaging tab at the top>settings>mms account>click the mms account tab at the top>advanced settings>tick the "hide number" box.
You could then always send text in the mms, this would be OK for one or two text's but could be costly if you was continuously harassing someone
Hope this helps!

I'll try that mms trick.
In the meantime I've sent an email to the Webgate technical support to know if their
SMS Spam Manager allows it.
If you have other tips & ideas please just share them.

I've just tried without spaces and with a space between "ri" and "#" but it doesn't work.
Can you ask your girlfriend if she put spaces and where ?
thanks,
