why does my m600 disconnect my gprs connection after every few minutes when i use the in-built opera browser? it annoys me greatly as my service provider charges me every time it disconnects even when i haven't uploaded/downloaded the minimum amount of data for which they charge (they charge per 64kb of upload/download but if my gprs disconnects after having used 16kb i still get charged) is there no way in which i can stop the m600i from disconnecting the gprs automatically?

Hi,
I used to have opera 8.65 on my 6680 - I assume that is your version... I don't have it anymore, so I can't be more detailed: "somewhere" in "settings" (within opera/not your phone) you can decide wether connection stays open or disconnects after a certain time... But: to this day I don't understand why someone wouldn't rather use opera mini anyways... it's muchmuch faster, has rss etc. - or if you go for the "mod" even save page etcetcetc...
Good luck!

... so what's the problem? You misunderstood me perfectly well...! EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, have to correct myself... Had a rethink, and I believe I mixed up my apps... Opera 8.65 has no connection-option...!(?)
Still, why bother? Especially if connection fee etc. are a concern of yours, operamini is the choice to make, isn't it - what network is it anyway? Even vodafone Ireland/ready to go don't charge connection fee when I use o-mini, e.g., I can log in to yahoo, write and send an e-mail for about 6 cent... (seems I have to stop bitching about voda...
