mobile phone without loosing operator specific branding and settings! also if your phone is generic you can re-customize it to any network you want to

What can the new Release do?
-------------------------------------

- Put phone to original state before sending to service center for warranty repair
- Keeps operator specific certificates (can access operator portals and services)
- Key functionality is not changed on Vodafone branded phone with special keypad
- On 3 network it does NOT remove SMS Delivery report function
- Brand any generic phone to a specific network
- You now have full control of you phone to put any firmware/network settings you want
- Show full Language and T9 name

you have a generic sim free K800i and you use Vodafone, you want all the network brandings and settings in your phone, now you simply flash it with the

Vodafone branded firmware and its done.

Due to the very large amount of branded firmware's for all countries accross the world we will be adding files continuously.

CDA naming rules changed

Hi, Wotan, after flashing K800i with R1JC002, I had '99E0W' info on customisation instead of '1E0W'. What does it mean? Please, explain.

Is because you did not follow instructions and did not removed memory card / sim card.

I took out the SIM Card, I took out the M2 and I charged my battery to 100 %. I definetely know what I did, Wotan. It's not only me who experienced this 99E0W problem. Have Googled around and I found at least 3 people having the same story as I did. Anyway, did it matter that I downloaded the wtm and wtf files before I run the service and place them in the Flash folder that is created by your client? I did so to save time to get the phone flashed. So, what's your explanation, please? Thanks.

So if still facing this problem go to WotanServer Support and submit ticket with phone model, CID, firmware version you flashed to phone and what CDA you picked up. Support staff will try this specific CDA and firmware and help you to solve the problem.

Specialy W710 and Z710 even if flashed with using original service equipment & sw. So there can be many reasons to have this. But in 99% of cases is because customers did not remove memory card.

But the phone works just fine with this 99E0W. SEUS recognizes the phone, so does the PC. Strange. Why can't Wotan eliminate this additional string. I DID take out the M2..

Yeah, the problem with this is we can't sell phone and said it is still under warranty. Some ppl will recognised that this xExW is not usual.
