> Jealous man splashes acid over SMS

An SMS message kindled suspicion in a man that his wife was having an affair, prompting him to splash acid on her and took his own life by drinking it.
Zulkifli Salim, 49, is said to have read the message from his wife's handphone at the house of the woman's parents at Kampung Raja in Besut.
"In the heat of anger during the quarrel, he splashed acid on his wife's back and he drank it. His wife's cries of pain drew neighbours' attention," he told reporters.
Khairi said police found Zulkifli in critical condition and rushed him to the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital here while his wife was sent to the Besut Hospital.
He said Zulkifli died at the hospital while his wife, who suffered burns on her back, head and cheek, was transferred to the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Baharu for further treatment

Private text messages in a relationship = not a good combination!
SMS's have broken up many a relationship but this is just extreme!

u hear no end of stories where a person has sent a txt inteded for their lover to their spouse instead... it's a cruel way to find out...

battery acid? some cleaning and drain-unblocking products contain strog acids.
