in the good old times, all fones were like suitcases, later as a half brick...
if use the search on google, focus on ericsson hotline fones, or the nokias and the early motorola

I had a ericsson R520 ? (my avatar) about 2 years back. Was bigger in dimensions, but was very light weight. Had astonishing features. Had been gifted by a cousin who worked with ericsson. Was a pretty robust one. I gave it back to him few months back. But i regret that decision to this day.

N93i? Not exactly built like the robust phones like the R310s or 5210.
The r310s (my fav phone ever) and the R250s both showed you to wash the phone under a tap.

The toughest phone I had was the ericsson r250s. I'm sure many of you guys remember the hammer phone. But its surely closely followed by the nokia 6250.
The modern "tough" phones arent worth the hype. The latest nokia effort, 5500, died on me when I left it in the rain for 5 minutes max.
Sadly i think manufacutrers aren't bothered to build truely waterproof and dust proof phones these days
