Contract upgrade is near, bt O2 are offering me crap basically just the normal packages what they have? shouldn't they be giving me more to keep me?

What can i say to them next time i ring up, i want

12 month contract, at least 500 mins and 500 txts...

Ne ideas guys?

They will tend to offer the sim free tariffs which are cheaper. So you'll end up with a standard tariff but for less than you're paying... unless you're not high value in which case they won't mind seeing you go.

P.S. ditch them they are crap anyway at the moment. Customer service is not in their vocab. Try T-Mobile if you can - all you can eat data and the flext offer is very good.

In my experience O2 will deal, i been on a 1/2 price contract for 2 years now paying only £15 a month (200 mins). They do need some pushing that's for sure, i find normally 2 or 3 calls, eventually even asking for my pak code, where i'm redirected to someone who seems desperate to better any other deal i quote at them. ie voda, t-mobile etc.
Also what handset are you after? often this is the deal maker/breaker for me, and if you not upgrading you can expect to get money off for this too.
Peanut is correct that the t-mobile data services look good (but NOT 3G yet!), i'm in the process of using a t-mobile payg sim for data and O2 for calls.. dare i say it.. with 2 cloned sims on one card, in one phone (not sure about the actual legality of sim cloning, but they are my sims).. agree O2 customer service doesn't get a good name, but whats better? nice people at orange who rob customers blind?
One point to perhaps consider, in area's like Scotland t-mobile don't have the best of coverage, O2 is much better in that respect.
In summary, check out all the providers, see who's got the best deal and push O2.. you don't get what you want, then go elsewhere.

But i dunt really wanna pay more then £25!!!

Gunna research on voda, t-mobile, and say look, i can leave and go to these and get this for this price...

What you gonna do? cos your basically not offering me anything reasonable! Think thats a gd plan

They really annoying me now

Keep throwing 18 munth contracts at me, but i only want 12!!!!!!!!

One person i spoke to sed i cannot get a 12 munth contract cos they dont do tehm nomore lol

I want the online 35, but not at £35, or the Leisure, but with 500 any time and 500 offpeak, and 1000 txts for £25...

all networks do the best deals on 18 month contracts, i dont think ur going to get much far trying to get a gud deal with the 12 month contract. jst go to another network, if ur not getting what ur wanting

Get a sim only taffic. After 3 months you can upgrade and it goes to a 12 monther.

I am on 500 mins and 500 texts for £30, 12 month contract. Can get a W880 for free. Though I already have one!
