You can have a read of my little episode regarding a blocked phone and Topscooby just here: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=141763

Hopefully Rookwise will be a little bit more honourable than my trader though.

Good luck with it anyway.

This place is getting like a bloody minefield to trade in.

FAR too much scamming going on for my liking, can something be put in place to add a little security,I wonder?

Sorry to hear about this Doctorwa,I`m sure Rookwise will come through. He has always been a good trader on here.

The only thing I can think of is something like a Paypal account that everytime someone sells or buys a phone on here they put in say £2 which could then be used to contribute to any loss.
Some rules would obviously have to be put in place but I think it could work.

Picking someone to run it would be interesting though

Cracking idea Mike. I,for one would be up for that. You mean like a `insurance` fund or something of that nature?

Just gotta make sure people don`t start `imagining` that they`re phones have been blocked, and don`t start scamming the anti-scamming system!!

Good point about choosing the `treasurer` though!

but if we made the person whos phone had been blocked send it to us then we'd know it has been blocked and could also sell it on ebay to raise more money for the pot.

The only problem with selling the blocked phone on Ebay is that Ebay has banned the selling of blocked phones, unless it's listed with a 'signal fault'!

I've had a few dealings with Rookwise, and had no problems whatsoever. It could just be he's away from his PC for a couple of days or can't check his PMs or Esato for whatever reason. I'm sure he wouldn't deliberately scam you or anyone.
