> Sub woofer blown?
Bookmark topic
I think my 15" fli trap sub has blown, its all connected but its showing no life.
only thing i dont get is how.
Its 1200W, Its run off a 800w fli amp and is bridged over 2 channels, the 6x9s are connected so there is only 400W going to the sub which is way less the 1200w so i dont under stand wtf has happened.

its more likely you've blown a fuse in the amp than the sub mate.

As Lamont said it wont be your actual sub that has blown but more likely the fuse or something has come loose like your earth etc
I wont get technical with you but...
...If your using a sub in your boot then you dont really need to use the 6x9s as they interfeer with each others sound that they create.
Theres a longer explanation that that but thats the shortened version

yeah as lamont said, its probably the main fuse in the amp. my brother had a similar problem not too long ago. check the main one, and of course the little ones incase...

i reckon its the force..
an external force you have no control over...
if they don't like your music then stop your sub working..
i've seen it a number of times.. only happens over night though..
the little boll weevils come and and spit on it and it's gone..
it is however pn the upside a fooking easy fix. all you do is change the fuse dans la amp et voila!

Its definityly not the fuse as i tried the sub in my sisters car and still no signs off life, and i put 2 10" subs in a a subsitute and they are working just fine.
