Please someone help me with my phone!

I've had the m600 for a while now and I have never been able to use the update service software to upload the new software/firmware. The error that I get is that I don't have a compatible macromedia flash player installed on my computer. I have adobe flash player 9 which from what I can see is the latest. Also on top of that just yesterday I stopped being able to go to my SMS messaging whenever I hit the messaging icon it just says opening messaging and it stays there. I have to pull out the battery to restart the phone. I think if I were able to update the phone that maybe this problem would go away. I haven't seen anyone else complaining about this so didn't know if it's something that I'm doing wrong or what. Someone please help I love this phone and don't want it to become a paper weight already.

The macromedia problem is due to you have an updated version of flash on you PC.
What you need to do is remove the version you have and then reinstall.

There is a special utility available from Abode web site for removing the Flash application called "uninstal_flash_player.exe"
Download and run etc.

Once you have gone through the reinstall of flash again, should be ok and the SEUS should start up.

don't forget to fully recharge the battery, and the usb charging should be on.
once i updated the phone with 40% battery and even though the update went ok(at least that what the update service said) i discovered some bugs like missing original sound files, the demo tour was deleted. A re-update solved the problem

I agree 'USB being on' sounds odd... nothing to do with updating Maybe just worked that way for someone so ran with it since ? I haven't had to be specific about it every time I have updated, but it is normally on here by default.
