Hiya,
I seem to be having some technical issues with my S700i, and I think it's related to the connector. When I insert the AC adapter connector into my phone, nothing happens. The charging LED doesn't come on and it doesn't say "Optimized Charging" on the screen anymore. My headphones connect fine to the phone though, and none of the contacts appear damaged on it.
At first I thought it was the AC adapter, but the red LED on it is on as usual. I tried like hell to wiggle the connector around in the phone, but saw no results.
Does anyone know what's going on? Or does anyone remember if the connector is removable/replaceable on this phone, or is it soldered to the main chip. This is a real pain- the phone works perfectly, but the battery's going to go dead unless I figure something out! Thank you in advance.

I t probally the cable broken somewhere close to the conenctor going into the phone. FInd yourself a Voltmeter and check the voltage coming out of the plug. Alternativly just borrow a charger from someone and see if that works. (I know that is obvious !)
Even if battery was playing up I would expect he phone to sense the cconenction of the power etc.

Thank you- I think you're right! I tried hooking a very small motor, and also an LED to the tip of the adapter connector and nothing happened! That means theres no power coming from the adapter. I guess I just need to buy a new power supply (phew). I wasn't ready to part with my s700 yet... =D
