I know it sounds absurd, but does anyone knows if the SE P800 has zoom in its camera or not? Coz its sounds very weird!! And wheather anyone knows when this f***ing phone will be released, especially in the Middle East particularly in the U.A.E? Coz I live here in the U.A.E and am badly waiting for this phone like anything...

Thanx

As far as I know the camera itself does does not have zoom, but you can edit the pictures as soon as they are taken with a editing program built in to the phone. The release date are still a bit uncertain. Rumours say mid december in selected areas, Scandinavia and Germany, mid january they are starting to release it in the rest of the world. the p800 doesnt have zoom in function but you can after you have taken the picture
but i think there will be a software to zoom in pictures because 7650 have one
in the UAE i dont think the P800 will be realsed this year like other countrys but hopefully in JAN 2003 (i live in UAE)

But... It was pretty obvious that SE is going to distribute the P800 at around Xmas, isnt it? Then how come it will reach the UAE @ Jan 2003? I dont get it at all! And some people around the world got their own version of the P800 but in very little countries including the U.A.E...

Its even kinda stranger for SE to delay its solid launch date, which gives me a question: Is the P800 suffering from a serious technical problems??

Thanx

Is this an official word from SE?! Or its just to make me go sleep and dream of the P800 comming tomorrow?! I want SE to stop making people excited more than necessary and release this f***ing fone coz I sold my T68i for this newcomer and I bet my money on it. Am just waiting for SE to surprise us thats all, but my patience is almost over!! I think that most people did also have their patience (over) the limit...

One last word, "SE rocks, Nokia sucks".

Devilish,
u can contact them at this #

Email :Questions.ae@support.sonyericsson.com
Tel No.+971 4 3919880

They dont know yet when its going ot be released exaclty. Like someone mentioned earlier, there must be some technical problem for not releasing it on time. To tell u the truth, I tould rather wait in order for them to fix things if there are any problems with P800.
they r makin git worth while though...I just want a damn "to do list" function and many other things..

Cheers
