Im selling a PSP 1.5 on ebay, got some questions as I've never sold on ebay before.

How can you tell if someone is paypal verified while they are bidding? Or even after?

Cheers.

I think if you list an item for sale to Paypal buyers only, only those that have an enabled credit/debit card or whatever with a Paypal account can bid using that method.

Hi all,

People can still bid and buy with Pay Pal without having either a confirmed address and or a verified account. Unfortunately this does show up whilst they are bidding only once payment has been sent via Pay Pal will you see if the address is confirmed and if the account is Verified. The reason that sellers insist on these two factors is it is necessary to be able to not have any false non delivery claims made against as if the address is not confirmed it does not count as proof of delivery what ever proof you may have. If some one pays you this way and have not met the Pay Pal terms you have set out return their money and request a different payment method is my advice.

Thanks for the info.

The buyer has a confirmed address and a non us verified account according to the paypal website as do I, but Im still not eligible for sellers protection because you need to be a business/premium account holder. Is there not sellers protection for personal users?

Is it fine to accept the payment?

Not being verified doesn't mean much, it could just mean he hasn't had to verify because he hasn't reached his limits, but a confirmed address is a good sign, it's proven they live there so that would be your first port of call if ever the shit hits the fan, i'd accept it.
