Sky News reports that a British snowboarder, buried alive by an avalanche in the French Alps, has been saved by the light from his mobile phone.
"Tapped at almost 5,000ft he managed to phone a friend who raised the alarm. But as darkness fell he still had not been found.
His would-be rescuers rang him and told him to use the light from his mobile to guide the helicopter in."

i must agree, the flash on the SE's phones is nice, but the light is a nice extra that many people appriciate.

his phone was a K608/600. it was shown on TV here in flanders, but i was changing channel fast, so didn't see it compelty.
