Earlier today I purchased a log account from DaVinci and when I try and use the flash software I keep getting 'incorrect unsername and password'.
Yes, I am typing it correctly! So what's the problem? I purchased it with my credit card, does thatmake a difference?

i dont think it matters. contact Da Vinci team and tell'em your problem. they should find a solution for you.
