Oh when are Orange going to release the latest firwmare for the P990I?? I keep pluging my phone in and running the update but it keeps telling me I've got the latest version, which I haven't I've checked.

Any Ideas??

I'd say that you do have the latest version, remembering that your version is the orange version.

you are trying to compare the latest orange version with the latest sim free version and thats the price you pay when you buy branded phones.

you may need to face the fact that you may never get another firmware update from orange on the p990

It is more than likely that Orange will NOT release an update for their firmware. I would suggst that it is highly unlikely that they will. They are much more likely to leave it the way it is and then ask people to buy the new version in quarter 4.

But if for £4 & a 1 day wait is all it takes to debrand it, then update to latest firmware, whats the big deal with a branded one, particularly as it may have been a good price ???

you can change the CDA but then you still have to update via SEUS but that does not make me confident as SEUS is about as reliable as the weather in UK?
