i just changed my CDA via kulankendi i had a voda branded handset and did have CDA 162008/91 only, now i have 2 CDA's in this order:
CDA162007/1 R3A01
CDA162008/91 R3A01
and i am waiting for SEUS to sort themselves out before i can update to R9 as mentioned before on the forum
am i doing the right thing here as i have followed instructions from previous threads?
now when i goto update via SEUS it starts downloading update installation files and hangs on 26% or 31%
have i flashed my P990i the right way? (are the CDA's in the right order?)
will i be able to get R9 after SEUS sort out hanging when downloading update files?

Your phone is going to explode!!!!!!!
If you read the thread on all this..... why you felt so important to have to start your own is beyond me then you'll see it's perfectly normal. I understand you're a bit apprehensive but once you update everything will be fine.

no reply on the appropriate threads?!
but thanks for your reply but its just that i read all the instructions from here and followed them, then i go onto the kulankendi site and i hear the opposite of the instructions i have just done with regards to the CDA which one should be first and last??
give me confidence it'll work as kulankendi has'nt yet! and thanks for your vote
only problem i have now is that SEUS will not download the update installation files and hangs on 26% and i have tried on 4 different PC's???
dying to update to R9!

I'd uninstall the PC suite then in that case and find the update files it downloads and delete them then start again.
How long to you leave it to download the files?

no probs with PC suite.
just Sony Ericsson Update Service as soon as i execute the service on my pc its starts with the SE logo animation then cuts into downloading update installation files with a progress bar then hangs everytime on 26% or 31%?
tried uninstalling everything then running cccleaner, restarts, then re-installing everything again but still the same hanginging on 26%?
i have contacted SE several time with this issue but i had to send off my system info for them to anylize for conflicts? so im sure its gonna take time as usual with the P990i.
just wanted to know if anyone had a resolution for this or anyone has any probs with SEUS at the moment?

I'd say you need to find the old update files an delete them but I don't know where they're stored sorry

there are several topics on how to uninstall the PC Suite and all that it comes with it, including the SEUS. Do a search.
But when u install SEUS again, it will go out to the Net and download those files.
see this post for Nitro Fan's comments on how to uninstall the PC Suite;

SEUS is working for most of us. cos most of us whco could, already upgraded.
does it have to with SP2? Try upgrading to SP2.
Does it have to do with the Firewall? Try deactivating it.
Of course, restart the computer in between installations...
