2. you can view the picture. but before applying it as a wallpaper you get a screen where you adjust the picture so that the whole deskop is cover. the picture just display a broken picture icon when the get to that screen.
but anyway there is a workaround, i use the editor to resize the picture. and it works after that.

If I can view the picture is means that the compression used is compatible with the M600.
Unless is they use different settings to view and different setting for wallpaper.
