I have a contract with vodafone but want to get this new Live! thing where by Ican download and send mms how do I get this??

what phone do you have? with vodafone if u want to send and receive MMS u may have to phone vodafone customer services on 08701654321 in order to get it activated on your phone. this was the case with my T68m when i couldnt receive anything even when i downloaded the settings.

Vodafone Live! is a series of services offered via a single menu system (using WAP over GPRS). It is specifically designed for a number of Vodafone Live! handsets such as the GX-10 GD-89 and 7650.
Other so called 'legacy' devices such as the T68i may use some of the Live! services such as MMS Picture Messaging, but will not benefit from the complete user experience (with ICONS and all).
If you just want MMS then you will need a suitable phone that supports MMS and you will need to get your service provider (such as SinglePoint) to enable MMS on your phone and SIM account, then you need to configure your phone (easily done by an OTA configuration by SMS).
After that, you're ready to go!
