a month ago you were saying how all your problems seemed to be to do with orange branding and you seemed satisfied after debranding using
coxy's service

masseur,
the problems i had with out of date firmware, crappy menu structures and reduced functionality were solved by moving to the generic firmware. what has not changed is that my phone constantly crashes.
The first and foremost thing i want a phone to do is make and take phone calls then texts, this phone is like taking a step back to the dark ages. The last time i had a sony ericsson product was the T68 and i experienced similar frustrations with the naff bit of kit. I won't be buying SE again, but since i have this £200 brick i'd like SE to at least acknowledge the issue if not, god forbid, fix it.
hope that answers your question?

Here is what I can say about my P990 stability and reliability.
p.s. I had 10.1 mb free ram before activating camera shot.

koto,
I'm surprised that you are happy with a phone that you had to spend an extra £20 on for software to keep it from crashing.
But hey if you have deep pockets and don't mind paying the extra then good luck.

Actually, right now the phone is stable without SMP...most of the time i have it off, and only use it has for shortcuts...i being using more SMAN (that is free)
If you phone does have those problems even with latest fw and reflash, ask for replacement, because has you see, normal phone don´t have those

I am even more surprised that you are saying that. Your phone is obviously not performing well so you can't understand why I am so satisfied. It is ok with me, you can get rid off it and buy something else which will satisfy you.
Also as Ares said smpro has nothing to do with crashing issue. It is simply very good app for me with nice features so I like to use it.
