I have a SE w800. When I go to File Manager and see the Free memory available it shows a certain amount of free menory available for the phone and menory stick...
When i press the left volume button on the side I get the system status. Here the Free memory available for the phone and memory stick shown is different from the first case by about 3 Mb.
Has anyone noticed this? What is the reason? Which one is correct?

I just CHECKED mine (K750) and I got BOTH the ACTUAL count: File Manager and the VOLUME on the RIGHT side . . . . on the volume it also records the percentage of the battery LEFT too
I got the STOCK firmware here . . .

free memory in the status is in KB only for the initial FW!

The one which shows more free memory is correct. It is, as seen from the standby mode.

The MEMORY STATUS on my File Manager is in - MB, while the one being accessed on the VOLUME KEY (stand-by, right side of the fone) is in - KB, and YES, I do got the STOCK FIRMWARE . . .
