Ok so my question is that ive recently got a nokia n73 the price was cheap and the guy stated that only the phone's screen was dead. After changing the screen and booting the phone I realized that its got a simlock on 3Uk. Sadly I dont live in the UK and travel there only a few times a year. I do have a chance to buy 3 Prepaid simcards and credit.
So my question is if i call the customer support centre and ask for them to take off the 20 or 30 quid that they usually take off to send the unlock code will they do it when they realize I am in roaming?
The question is expanded to Orange Uk too because Ive got a few of them phones locked to Orange Uk too.
Please I know there are some of you here that work for Uk operators if you could tell me if this is doable, I would be much obliged.
