Ok, how do we change the menu styles, so its not in blocks like 3x4, but as we saw on all the previews of the w880i... as in a line,, across the screen?

ws just wondering...

You need an unbranded phone to apply those themes. They're called flash themes.

I heard about this 'issue' with all branded phones so I asked CPW when I picked up my W880i if I could get an unbranded (generic) one - yep, no problem!

My issue now though is, I believe I still can't just copy other flash themes over to my phone . . anyone want to clear this up for me (us), please!

Okay, briefly:

Flash themes can be transferred phone to phone, just send them.....

Flash theme Desktops, or the menus, ARE NOT CONTAINED IN THE THEMES, they're part of each phone's internal filesystem(the themes contain a LINK to them, that's how they work).....

....unless(using admin tools, etc) you can install extra Flash Desktops(.swf files) into the correct directory(/tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash, for those interested), AND put a theme on the phone which can CORRECTLY REFERENCE that particular desktop, you CANNOT have flash menu icons(the theme will work for everything else, just the menu icons will be normal SE ones)....simple as that, I'm afraid....

....but it CAN be done, you just need to know/understand what you are doing(modifying a computer filesystem)!
