My Gf used to have a 6210 (i think) it's a relatively low end phone, so when the screen quality (inside and out) was not very good i expected it. but when i bought her the 3250 I was really disappointed that the screen is still very low quality.
I was wondering if all nokias are like this (for those that go through nokias)
also the sound quality is very good, but the UI is no good either.
anyways, really i'm just wondering about the screen qualities of nokias, because SE's i've had, and seen are just incredible compared to the nokia.

nokia have really advanced displays, just look at e70, e60 and n80.

3250 is an exception. Thing is that it runs on an OS thats made for QVGA screen and 3250 has 176x208.
PHones like N80, N93 and N90 have no comparison, they are the best

sadly n70 gor that crap resoluiton too, but n71 not, as qvga can state it. nokia likes to play with high res screens and resolution

@thetmaxx
Can't really comment on low or mid range phones but on my Nokia phones the screens are both really good. In fact the N93 screen is truly stunning and is clearly visible in nearly all lighting conditions partially due to self adjusting brightness. Absolutely different class to when i had a SE M600 and the screen would become unreadable far to easily IMO. Again the sound quality on both my devices is excellent with my own headphones and adapters and as for UI it is both fast responsive and very stable especially in S60 3rd Edition again not something i could say about the SE M600. But every users needs and wants and perception of excellence is different and subject to personal preferences generalisations are generally bad.

ok, i'm glad they do offer nice phones.
it's hard to find a phone for someone when the only thing they care about is "it has to be pink".
it has been very unstable recently though, i'm currently trying to find more info on that in other nokia forums. it crashes a lot when playing a java solitaire game. and it crashed a few times during normal use as well.

Well, I've got an e61 - can't see a SE beating that screen (nor the phone...)! The n91 on which I'm typing this hasn't got as crisp a screen as, say, k800, but you can see what's on the screen in brightest daylight - try reading wikipedia on a k... in the sun! I like my k800, but come on: when the light's best for photography, you can't see the screen. A bit cyber-shoddy, that...
