@rie - The K800 is a NICE fone . . . if you are NOT much into 3G/video calls, better get the K750 or W810i mate . . . the images acptured on it's camera are ALMOST the same (for me) . . . also, if the K810i (successor of the K800) is already available at your end (Canada) and $$$ disparity is NOT much, better get the latest one-K810 . . . Good Luck !

Welcome to Esato too !

@rie - Yes, some problems do happen with some models of mobile phones . . . we may say that they were isolated issues, mostly, these things happen during the INITIAL release of such . . . If I were you, I'll just save my money and get the successor of the K800/K810 . . . specially if you are into much of using it's camera-feature, perhaps a 4 or MP camfone. The price of the K800 is really bargain at present, if you are really decided in gettin' one, just be sure that it has a warranty . . . replaceable within a month if possible (hardware problems) or what . . .

As I've said, if you are not much into 3G/video calls . . . the K750 or W810 will suffice for your needs at the moment . . .

Good Luck !

Hi, i agree about the desgin, i would never win any prizes for that, but i think the cam and the music player are very good and i'm really happy with the battery life. Its all about choice and what you want from the phone.

Cheers
Lee.

K800 is a stunning phone mate. Have to say it has given me a lot of pleasure over the last 8 months. Great for pics, not so hot really for video. Radio is fine and music is great too. Overall the SE interface works a treat and I have no argument. Go for it!!

@rie - Of course, LIFE will be easier if you are navigating your fone using a JOYSTICK, but there has been some ISSUES with this with some people here as being - defective (eventually) It is quite confusing as to what you might need to be gettin' pal . . . if you want a NICE camfone . . . it's definitely the K800 (at present), but if you are after MUSIC, then it's the W-series that you need (W810i/W850) . . . . Good Luck !

At the end, the K800 sure is a NICE one to have
