i emailed pics from one email address usisng a pop3 account to another pop3 account but when i download the email the email is about 40kb with a paperclip icon but no picture. i know the picture is attached because when i access my email via a pc the picture is there.
why does'nt the pics come up on my t68i.
is it because i don't have mms?

It's got nothing to do with MMS. The paperclip indicates an attachment in the e-mail, and you can't open attachments in your phone. It basically tells you that you need to use a PC to see the full content of the e-mail you have recieved. Sorry...

Unfortunately, the Email Client on the T68i is not that sophisticated.
You can only view MMS pictures if they are sent as an MMS to your phone and viewed through the MMS browser (which also displays animated GIFs). Emails (as already said), do not display ANY attachments regardless of type - but also will not waste GPRS packets or CSD time to download them.
The Panasonic GD-87 will display picture attachments (if not too big) on it's email client, which is cool but requires resource to download them.
