hmmmmmmmmmmmm
the confusion is this ........ w550i looks great n is slimer ............ but will require additional hedset fr good quality of music and also one needs to buy a 1 gb card that too m2 ........ so overall it costs asmuch as the w 810i ........
which is the better phone ????

Buy w810.It's way more better and "worth of money" then w550i.W550i also contains one more problem , its keypad is upside down , which usually get's alot of complaints , my friend is using a w550i and he is really irritated with the keypad , he bought a new one and after 17 days it's keypad was wobbly , since he had the exchange warranty he went and exchanged it with another w550i and that also has the same problem and now he just has to stay with it.He also tried to get it fixed in his warranty.It came back fixed , but after some days the same problem came again.This is a point which should be noted about w550i.
EDIT - In your Main Topic you have written k550i and inside the post you have written w550 , so can you tell me that which one are you talking about ? also even if it is k550i , you should still go with w810.

The features of both mobiles seem to be as good as identical, except for:
- k550 has m2 stick format, don't know about delivered size, w810 is ms duo pro which might be less expensive;
- k550 has bluetooth stereo support;
- k550 has rss reader in system, for w810 it is a java application;
- k550 has push-email, what it exactly is in w810 is unclear;
- k550 is very thin;
- w810 has walkman interface for music;
- camera is identical, but k550 has lens cover and cybershot-interface;
- probably the k550 has the new style of interface (other fonts etc).
If you are not looking for one of the features above, the are completely interchangeable imo. I'd go for the looks and price and on looks alone it would be a hard choice. I had the w810 a few months before the k550 came out.

I got a K550i 3 days back..comparing it with W810 there are few changes mostly with the fonts and cybershot interface ..as u said M2 rates are higher and W810i has Flash lite ..so the choice is urs

The w810 has been on the market for about a year now. The k550 is not yet for sale everywhere...
Thinking about it I'd also go for the w810. Despite it being "old", it looks the part and as many have said before it has that something that makes it irresistible. It also has the design elements the newer phones like the W660 refer to. The w810 will probably survive a lot of other models, just like the t68 did. It only shows its design era because of it being (by today's standards) 'thick'.
