It's made from a Lego Mindstorms kit. I can tell by the red light sensor and the Yellow RCX block. I have the 1.5 kit at home, might give it a go.

Right, I made it but isn't worth videoing it, the moment I hit start the motors turned in opposite directions (due to my carelessness) and the entire thing fell apart instantly.
