when u put a w850i mega bass equaliser on does the sound go louder and quieter on the headset? or is it just my phone?

I wonder if you could help me...i want to flash my phone to a w800,i have phone XS and the main,but the flasher doesn't seem to be working.My phone is 100% charged so its not that,what could be wrong? i am using a usb cable.
