some people will still stick with sms... a lot of old people out there are afraid of change. and one more thing, there's isnt enough mms capable phones out there in the market to start an mms revolution. mebbe in a couple of years.

I´m pretty sure that sms is here to stay. Don´t think SMS and MMS fill the same purpose. But maybe the introduction of MMS will lower the price of SMS. It´s way to expansive to send SMS, atleast in Sweden.

Sms will stay around. Kinda like the newspaper didnt die when the television was invented. They serve different purposes. If i am going to let someone know that i am running late, I wont send an mms.

truesay, it is very fiddly and only worth using if you have time to do so or if you want to take the pi*s out of a friend using not only text but voice and pics (oh i can see the fun ahead of me)
