hi to all, i would like to ask a question. Have the K610 and just got the M600. On the PC, the latest PC suite is installed. M600 come with PC suite for smartphones, which is different. Am i to install the m600 pc suite and keep them both installed? Does K610 work with PC Suite for smartphones, so i should uninstall the other one? Will they work ok if both installed? I'd prefer it thought if K610 could work with M600's PC suite so i have only one of them installed. Any help and answers are appreciated, thanks you

you can have them both installed at the same time, I have done this for a long time with no issues.

OK, thanks. So i guess using only the M600 suite, it wont work with the K610 (since it looks a more developed version of the K610 PC suite)

I haven't tried it but there mere fact that they provide two separate suites suggests that one is not compatible with the other

try it, I guess, and let us know if they are compatible

Tried on a PC with only installing PC suite for smartphones, and the k610 isnt recognised, since drivers for it are not included. Maybe if i find that file with the k610/k800 drivers that SE was givign away at earlier versions of PC suite can try it. But i believe you are right, that the synchronisation will probably not work

have you instaled SEUS? that comes with all the drivers required for the various phones

I believe if you install that and then connect the K610 to the pc it will be recognised by the PC at least if not by the smartphone suite

Installed SEUS (which actually downgraded my phone, that's on another topic though!) but still isnt recognised. I think it has drivers for only when pressing "C" which are probably different. Maybe i can try to install normal PC suite, get k610 recognised, then uninstall it, i think drivers remain in system. And then try to install smartphone suite.

yeah, you may have to do that initial connection withe the 'c' key to get the actual driver installed but you dont need to actually go as far as doing an update

anyway, I guess this is all probably not going to change the fact that the two pc suites are independant

True, logically they wouldnt get two different applications if one supported all. thank you for your help and quick response though, i'll just use both of them same time.
