i replaced my pc with a mac.. love it.

but my pc wont work ever since i disconnected everything and moved it.

it will start up as normal i get the xp loading screen then just a black screen.

works fine in safe mode tho. i restored twice
i've tried reinstalling the graphics drivers and still nothing.

any other suggestions?

im convinced it will be something thats come loose a mate... try unpluging everything and re-pluging it in... if that fails, id reinstall windows - althoguh its crazy this has happened.... but if its starting through safe mode id say theres soemthing up with your install regarding acertain piece of hardwear.... (where possibly the drivers have screwed up soemhow etc...)

have you taken anything atall off it or put anything on it since the swap from pc to mac?

but i did try the 2 screens back on and still nothing.

does look like it goin to need a re install, i did want to try and avoid this though

does it work with "Last know good..." or "VGA mode" ? if not it's from your graphic, check it's connection & install last version again.

hmmm I recon a restore would probally work, best thing to do is use a spare hd and try to install on that and see what happens

Does the HD tv you connected to have a higher resolution than your normal monitor? ,If you set it to 1280*720(TV), and your monitor can only handle 1024*768, that may cause a problem, or maybe your monitor cant handle a resoltion that your tv can, so maybe changing via safe mode your screen res back to what is was.... may help
