sorry, but you made it sound like a regular problem and as I have never experienced this either with a wifi adaptor, or built in wifi, I can only assume the one you have is not performing as it should and therefore should be replaced

the adapter is hardly a month old....
isnt there a limit to which the adapter can find a network?
i guess my nearest network is faaar away,so it isnt strong enough..
and jst want to increase its signal strength...

How far is the network your trying to access?
I know there are things like wifi bridges which work as 'bridge' to link two wireless networks together if they are to far away.
and i think i saw a booster ariel that you put on the outside of your house, which will also improve your signal.
Mind you they aren't cheap
Can i ask why is the network so far away?

actually i never knew there was a network in my hood untill today a msg popped "A WEAK NETWORK AVAILABLE" it had 56mb/s but before i could do anything they network died!!
and yeah a week bk i got one more the name was ~~dont~~ but could not access it!!
so i really dont know how far it is.
wat is the max distance the card can access?(USRobotics)
and yeah i have an antenna fixed in the port!
will anything like fixing a metal hanger or something work??
tq

A coat hanger wont do it. You can get external aerials for wifi cards that give a better range. Thats what I have done.
