Just checked it out. The phone rings 1 or 2 times before the app kicks in. But the log files is much better then on the ACM

Tail, i tested only with one number, and the app seemed to kick in right after the phone get the call...didnīt count the rings though, have to test it more
But you should email the devs about any bugs, improvements, they are asking for feedback

Same here, 2 ring signals before it kicks in, it would need the speed that ACM has to be a "must have app" BUT, it is free so therefore it still is a nice proggy.
ACM rules in this category, it took some time before I learned it properly but when mastering it, it really is a killer app.

Currently, the P990i needs to take 2 rings first before Call Filter kicks in to block the call. Filtering will be perfect if Call Filter is able to block an incoming call instantly without any ring.
This way, the blacklisted caller will only hear an engage tone (instead of 2 rings before being cut off).

Yep, the thing is, when a caller first hear 2 tones and THEN a engage tone he/she might believe that the receiver looks at the display and THEN hang up, it might be recieved as a negative thing...
Otherwise a nice app
