Hey Guys,

As you know, when your mobile keylocks & goes on stand-by, the time should be displayed in black in the back stand-by background.
Its always done so for me...untill...
recently, my internal LCD screen was damaged by some metho-spirits
i went and had it replaced by another original K750i LCD screen...everything works as usual now (except for the screen bit darker) except i cant get to see the time in stand-by.

2 reasons:

1) i need to see the time, and the only way i can see it now is if i press the volume +/- button.
2) i used to see a missed-call arrow in stand-by if i do miss a call. now i cant see it if phone is in stand-by unless i press any key to light it up.

and YES "SLEEP MODE CLOCK" is ON.
any other suggestions?

If anyone's had a "K700i" before its acting like the "power-save" mode is on.

yep...as mentioned above.

and what annoys me, that all functions in the mobile work. so why is it even after ive switched sleep-clock ON/OFF, still no difference?

BTW i've fully charged the mobile too.

i would let it check in a service. u mentioned that the screen itself is darker, might be sg gone wrong.

try a master reset. and if this aint get it working, perform a flashing. if this is a bug, visit the K750 / W800 firmware overview thread and check if there's a known bug regarding your case.

Hey Guys,

Ok 1st reply...

*i DID the master-reset...didnt fix it
it restored my mobile to scratch, but didnt fix it.

*i dont think it needs a service, because everything works 100% the stand-by time IS ON, however its not displaying UNLESS i press the volume down key & the screen lights up white to which i can see the time.
So the time is on, but why isnt it showing in stand-by?

*i got it the LCD changed at a professional private business that fixes/repairs mobiles. he'd tell me "look the time is on, but ur mobile isnt displaying it, not my problem"

*i reallly dont want to pay extra money to re-flash the mobile...can you guys check for me. turn the "SLEEP MODE CLOCK" on/off tell me which one displays time in standby. Thanks
