Well, not exactly true...
I flashed the CDA today and got rid of all the Orange crap... it now runs faster, I can run other apps as well as tomtom with out it falling over. (Web, music and tomtom - not that there is really a need - but you can).
Anyway, I miss the Orange menu's. Just the one on the desktop. I presume it's because I got used to it, and to be honest, for a better performing phone (virtually as I imagined it would be when I bought the thing) I can live with out them.
However, if I can customise the desktop that would be the icing on the cake. Anyone got any bright ideas?
Also - now that my wifi doesn't drop out every 3 mins, I have started using Agile - very cool. Has anyone had any luck with the beta versions of VoIP software floating about?

app on some handsets, maybe it is for the 990 as well.
If you can get the Orange firmware maybe it can be extracted, or maybe
some kind soul could upload the jar/jad for you ??
