afaik its for the batt has to be charged ( its usually at se fones that way )

I remember this was quite an annoying bug in the first firmware for M600 but I assume you're running the latest firmware?

my mate had a vodacrap SE F500i (basically a vodafone branded k500i) and it flashed about every 5 seconds i think. it got very annoying after a while
