Best music player for SEP990i?

A question for you music lovers 
Which is the VERY best music player for the P990i?

I’m asking because I’d thought I’d use my phone as a “Jukebox” , connected to a stereo when I’m arranging a big party and I really need the sound quality to be as good as possible.
I’ve got a lot of music CD’s but I don’t care for hire a DJ, I want the phone to do the job.
I don’t want to be embarrassed due to bad sound and I think the built in player is no good when I connect it to a stereo.

So, is there a player out there that really makes a difference when connecting it to my sound system?

Grateful for all the input and tips you can give me!!

I don’t mind paying a bunch IF the soft really is good!

I think the inbuilt player for the P990 ha quite impressive sound quality actually, compared with the W810, and the K750, and no, I havent heard of any third party Mp3 players for the P990 yet, the only way to check the quality would be to actually hook it up to your stereo HIFI system and check it out, im pretty sure the sound quality would be good, also if you have a good HIFI system they could probably handle the megabass quite well for the party < more hi tec than a DJ!

Hi nabboR,

From what i have read from many P990 users that have found the normal Music Player to not offer enough volume they seem to highly recommend LCG Jukebox by Lonely Cat Games. Download a trial and see if you like it and then purchase it if it suits your needs.

To agree with Dogmann, I have the P990 and have paid for the LCG jukebox which is a very good app with some rather nifty features, but i also use the p990's default player through my hifi and find it also to be more than adequate! as dogmann said give the trial of a jukebox a whirl and see if you like it!

Thx guys for your input, I really appreciate it!

Yeah, I think it is a poor selection of 3'rd party music players, it seems like LCG's Jukebox is the only soft on the market today.

Sure I'll give it a try, when testing my phone with my hifi I thought it sounded rather poorly, like the sound came from a can, so I'll dl Jukebox and five it a go to see if it maybe offers a better sound.

PowerMP3 was the best for the previous Pseries phones but not sure if it is available for UIQ3 yet, I quite like the standard player

Thx guys!
Yes, it is rather OK, but I miss the manual choise of equalizer, I can just choose from pre-set ones and I don't seem to find a setting that sonds nice on my Hifi so, if there's not comming out a new player soon I'll at least give LCG's Jukebox a try.

Any tips on how to make the internal player sound good on the stereo? Settings, output volume a.s.o.?

And also another Q: LCG's Jukebox supports OGG, as I'm lost in these things I do understand that OGG is another tech to compress audio files than MP3 and I've learned that OGG gives a better sound(?) than MP3, if I get the Jukebox, can I "convert" existing audi files on my phone from MP3 to OGG?

If not, how to do it?
Thx for supporting me, I'm very glad to be a part of these nice forums.
Cheers
