I've just gotten this phone. All these new info are overwhelming, I hope some of you could just give me some basic advice how to hack and improve this device.
My phone's firmware is R1CA021 which is what the phone came with originally. Should I try to upgrade this to the latest one?
Would you recommend I should upgrade the firmware with the W800 firmware? Which firmware version should I go for?
I'm not too impressed with the camera, I'm planning to download the camera hack that is discussed in this forum.
Aside from the firmware and camera hack, what other hack should I consider?

The k750's latest firmware has no good sound as i've seen many ppl complaining about this issue. If you want to update your phone with the w800 firmware is up to you. There are several tutorials out there which are easy to learn.

I'm using the same firmware as you, @jramirezz11, have not encountered any problems with it yet. Agree with @tranced, have heard things about the latest K750 firmware, so if there's nothing wrong with your phone, don't bother upgrading the firmware. As for the W800 firmware, if you're not familiar with how the various flashing programs work, don't do it, you may end up bricking your phone. If you really have to do it, do plenty of research here first, there are many threads on Far Manager.
