Pls help me... i bought my p910i (second hand) a few days ago, and since i played all day with it, last night i left it charging for the entire night. it charges very slow and my battery keep only 1,5 days. perhaps because i play too much with it.. and made the last SEUS update yesterday...
anyway, this morning, after i took it out from the charger,- i left it charging turned off for the whole night- i started it and did not use it. after an hour it was closed and was very warm. and the battery was almost empty.

in the morning the phone was not warm, and when i put in the chareger last night it made that sound like charging....

what happened?
any help? pls...
just when i started to like this phone...

i believe its because of the battery, but i want to know for sure if its the battery who gives me headaches, because i need to know if the phone can be fixed easily and cheap, by changing the battery, or should i sell it as it is because it has another hardware problem..

thank you very much for ur answers.
i'm not at home right now to try to charge it again, so this day at work should be without phone

Hey man

Don't take my word for it, but it does sounds that it's one or more components in your phone that consumes a whole lot of excessive energy, which makes the certain components overheated as well as consuming batterytime.

Reasons for overconsumption MIGHT depend on a liquiddamage....
There are reasons to send it to a SEMC licensed servicepoint who could do a check.

Take care and good luck!

My P900 has the exact same problem. I believe it's a hardware problem, not the battery. My wife also has a P900 which works fine, but when I swap batteries with her, it still gets warm & drains the battery if I leave it on.

@bogdan_wrc, maybe it's time you tried out the P990i. With the latest firmware its very stable and no heating issues so far!

thank you all for the replies. i just bought it...and i have to send it to service

regarding the possibility of buying a p990...the fact is that i like the design more of the p910, and the price in my country si less than half (meaning that for my p910 i paid smth like 180-190 euros, while the p990 can be found at over 350-400 euros with subscription at vodafone) and yet i am not willing to pay that much for a phone (i paid once alost 550 euros for my s700i and still not regret that moment...but times have changed... ).

so any other possibilities? what went wrong?

why did it happen so sudden? i used it for a couple of days without any problems, and today....bang....

should it have smth to do with the update? i managed to use the seus...

just when i started to like this phone
