my question may sound stupid butis there anybody who can tell me, what hardware is better?
1. T68m R3A made in malaysia
2. T68i R4A made in china

I´ve got an opportunity to change my t68m to t68i with a friend.
I do like the blue keyboard light of the i version but the keys of i version make much louder klick and that´s a bit annoying.
Does anybody know any typical problems with these hw revisions?
which one should I prefer?

i would definately take the one that is made in malasya... better yet the ones made in sweeden are the best... hw ver does not really matter...

I don't think that there is really a big difference as both are made by Sony Ericsson and should be covered by their warranty.

I would upgrade to a T68i from your T68m.
