Hi!

I have a W700i that i purchased in Germany, where I live, but I am Italian and the phone doesn't support my language.

I had a look to www.wotanserver.com and I saw they offer the possibility to flash the phone with any firmware you want, in order to add the needed language.

I have some question about Wotan:

- Does the phone guarantee void after such an upgrade (from a not official source)?
- How many credits do I need to be able to upgrade?
- Is Wotanserver reliable?
- Is it possible just to "add" the language without changing the complete firmware?

I would have asked all these question directly to Wotan, but i could not find any email address there.

Thank you for your attention!

I had a w700i as well.... its good for nothing ... dont spend a penny for such a crap phone.

only good feature is its a walkman phone... poor camera without autofocus s*cks and no flash lite support even though sony says it has.

I got rid of that phone.. now I have k750 CID36 converted to w800i

go for a k750 or if posible go for an w810 which supports flash menus.

Regards.

i used wotan to debrand the w810i that didnt start up (see elsewhere on esato), it fixed it and also an unbranded handset is quite good.

it was reliable, quick and easy
