I just got the W880i (Firmware: R1JC002) today, and within just a few hours I've encountered these bugs in the software.
1. Edited shortcuts assigned to the navigation keys will revert back to the default every time i turn the phone on and off.
2. Illogical menu placements. There's only 1 setting which i found out of place. That is the video call settings. It's placed in the oranizer section
this is wierd, i would expect to see it in the Calls or Settings menu.
2. Animated background themes (for example Citybeat) are supposed to have the background animation paused when there are other UI overlays on screen, but sometimes the background animation continues causing the UI to lag really bad.
Lag example #1.
From the main screen (which the shows time and date) press the Activity Menu key. This will bring up the Activity Menu window overlay. Now under the My Shortcuts tab, scroll down to add New Shortcut. This will bring u to another screen where u choose a new shortcut to add. Now when u press the return arrow key to go back to the Activity Menu, the background animation will start to animate again causing lag in the UI.
Lag example #2.
Again from the main screen, press any of the numeric keys as if u were going to make a call. The numbers you press are shown on screen as per normal. Now press the "More" right soft key. Notice how the background starts to animate again causing lag in this UI overlay.

2. SIM Menu for online services is under Entertainment
3. I experience lag/slow/delay from Shortcut Menu only when i try to Move an item.

Yup, that happens with the lag. Basically whenever u are trying to move stuff which is on a UI overlay atop the animated background it will lag. Will also experience this when u get a few new SMS msges and view them via Activity Menu.
Btw, do u mean that your setting for video calls is located under Entertainment>SIM ?
Wierd, mine's under Organizer>Video call.

i was referring to the SIM Menu or STK which is a menu-driven service where transactions are conducted by selecting options that appear on the mobile phone’s display.

Has anyone else ever experienced the M2 getting unmounted after switching from Walkman... to something else... then back to Walkman? My mom's W880 has this weird glitch where the M2 seems to get unmounted frequently.
It works again if you eject the card, then insert it again. But after playing some songs, exiting, then going back to the Walkman player, it unmounts the card again.
