Yes, Wotan Server can debrand and even rebrand your W880i, but NOT unlock it.

I heard some unlocking services stop the activities due to 'strict' SE policy. They open for a while, and close down another some time. Try SEtool or Davinci. It may be available again.

Hi

I have a w880i phone from vodafone, I'm happy with everything EXCEPT that the branding means that I can only download from vodafone live, and means I can't install 3rd party apps on it (like i had on my w800i).

Vodafone has delightfully informed me there's nothing they can do as they will only give out the phone if you ONLY use vodafone live and pay for stuff through them - rgh!

I've never considered de-branding a phone before so I would appreciate some advice. Will I end up loosing all kinds of settings when I debrand? What usually happens?

Thats not true, my W880 is also with vodafone and you dont have to download stuff from vodafone live. You can use the browser to view and download from most wap or websites.

And w880 isn't even stated at that site.. lol
