> walkman 2.0 from w610 - w810

any chance we'll see, obviously not from SE, the walkman 2.0 in a firmware patch or via FARmanager able to be put on w810, w800, k750? I was reading in a w810 post (http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=127391&start=180#post1913189) that they have essentially the same internals.
Anyone think this is IN the realm of possibility? If so, someone should get cracking, 'cause that would be AWESOME.
My guess is that the internals aren't exactly the same, which is probably a prerequisite.

imo, if you want a

v2 in w810 you should brake into the mobile firmware that has the

v2 extract it and then incorporate it in the firmware of the mobile that has the

v1.

@cletus141
I don't think that's realistic. Tranced idea is probably more realistic, because that's the nature of dumbphone software (if you can find another phone with software containing W2.0 that is compatible with your phone that is).

Whats actually different between versions 1 and 2? I've had the w800 and w850 and apart from album art and obviously the styles i cant see any difference. surely changing the look of version 1 couldnt be that hard.

The track id is an app inside OS, so this could be an issued, unless you can disable that funtion before load to the new phone
